Sea Sun is located in St. Margaret's Bay, Nova Scotia, a twenty-five minute drive from downtown Halifax.

• From Halifax, take Highway #103 west for fifteen minutes. Take Exit 5 and turn left at the end of the ramp near the Sobeys.
• Drive south for five minutes towards Peggy's Cove. You will pass an 'Esso' gas station on your right and then come to a set of lights with a 'Superstore' visible stright ahead beyong the lights. Turn right at these lights onto St. Margaret's Bay Road.
• Shortly after this turn, you will pass an 'Irving' gas station on your left. Not far past the Irving, turn left onto Peggy's Cove Road . (Note: You will see a sign the says "Peggy's Cove" directing you to make this turn)
• Travel four kilometers south along Peggy's Cove Road. Keep a look out for a "Canada Post" building on your right. The turn for Shining Waters Marine is a right turn not far passed Canada Post.
• At the sign for Shining Waters Marine, turn right onto Nautical Way. The driveway is quite long, go right to the end. Sea Sun is at the back of the main Shining Waters Marine building, right on the water. See you there!

Make getting there half the fun... bike & bus to Sea Sun!

For adventurers on a shoestring budget, take the bus and then bike to Sea Sun Kayak along the beautiful Peggy's Cove Road. The whole thing costs about $30.00 return. Here's how:

• Bring your own bike or rent/hire a bike from www.idealbikes.ca call 444-RIDE (7433). The cost of the rental is $25 per day ($15 for additional days or $75 per week)
• Bike to a MetroX Bus #330 Tantallon bus stop along its route: View a map of the MetroX bus route and the bus schedule (scroll down until you find 330 and click on the clock icon). More info on the Metro X bus
• The MetroX bus allows you to take your bike on the bus! Make sure you have $3.25 for the bus fare. Take the MetroX bus from Halifax to the Hubley Centre (in front of Sobeys grocery store).
• Then follow these these directions from the Hubley Centre to Sea Sun and enjoy the stunning 8 km ride!
  

Transportation for larger groups

Sea Sun Kayak is happy to co-ordinate transportation for groups. From downtown Halifax, a 7-passenger van ride costs about $12 per person one-way and a 14-passenger van about $8 per person one-way. More than 14 people? Mini coaches and full-size motor coaches can also be arranged. Call or email us to make your transportation arrangements.
